Running Down The Memory Lane

Back to Blogging after a 3 month hiatus! I'm gonna run back down the memory lane as the title says! Here I go!

An year back, in months of June and July, I came to know my marks and rank in my EAMCET exam. The result showed the my performance in that exam and also all the exams in +2. Well, marks were out! Next was the tedious task to select the right choice in a list of about 8,000 Enginnering Colleges in the State. A perfect dilemma!

I wandered in the top most private Engineering Colleges in the State hunting for a good seat. Sweated out! All the top most colleges' names were the only things that were going through my mind. But, later on I changed my mind to settle down for convener quota seat.

Keeping that in my mind, I browsed the Internet, flipped the pages, non-stop of around 10 newspapers for almost 2 months, and the words would go on... Knowing my field of interest, I decided to choose a college, in fact it is one of the best colleges in Hyderabad and A.P. That was CVR.

I heard many good things about the college that it is good in every aspect. I stood strongly on my decision to join CVR.

As soon as my seat in CVR was confirmed officially, guess what! I was still in a turmoil as to join or not. But, time came that made me realize that this college is one of the best colleges one could ever get in to.

College days were about to begin. It was announced quite before the induction day that college would start functioning right from September 18th (My BIRTHDAY!!). I was so excited to go to a new college..that too an Engg. college..that too on my Birthday..!!
It was announced on the induction day that college would start functioning after a few days time.

2-3 weeks later...

Then began the best part of one's life..The Engineering Life. I made very good friends. Friends who'd always be there when u need help or share something, understand u, etc. Hang outs, Band performances, everything began at the right time! And yeah! Not to mention, EXAMS too..!! :P

After an year, today, I feel how time passed or rather ran at light's speed. Right now, sitting in front of my laptop in the balcony, watching the rain, eating an apple and writing this post, I try to reminisce how my 1/4th of my Engg. Life had been. Happiness, small tussles, joy, sorrow, achievements, joy on seeing Liverpool win their 3rd consecutive Premier League victory over Man Utd, sorrow on seeing Rafael Benitez leave Liverpool FC, and this would go on and on... :)

I still don't get what this college has in it. I found, what would one call "Friends For Life". It reminds me of my best schooling days. :)

At the same time, I keep thinking how the rest (3/4th) of this wonderful, stupendous part of my life would be like. For the record, to be more specific, I feel excited what Life has in the coming years.

You never know, right!! :)

Things I've Learnt from College

A few things I've learnt so far from college..

1. A group of guys will be there in every sports team who play huge politics.

2. Be as friendly as you can with seniors.

3. Your group would be hated at many places in the college. Care a damn!

4. Do not keep changing buses frequently.

5. Be as far as you can from hypocrites!.

6. Submit your work regularly. Do not delay!

7. The Communication lab is something really fun.

8. Miss the Engineering Workshop, you degrade a step from being a carpenter or an electrician :P

9. Play any sport with seniors only!! Trust me, it works!

10. Impression plays a big role.

11. Dare to miss the CDS class.

12. Watch out for weird fauna.

13. Doesn't matter even if you walk a lonely road, there will be someone who will hold your hand and walk beside you for the rest of your life..

14. Board your bus ASAP while going to and after college.

15. Never behave like '
Chatur' in the film, '3 Idiots'.

16. There will always be huge rush near the drinking-water tanks.

And, finally Engineering life's filled with fun...! :)

Friendship

I dedicate this poem to my friends all over the globe...

I sat underneath the shade of a tree

Suddenly, I caught the sight of two friends
The way the moved and laughed
Reminded me of those days.....

When you and I were together
The times that we spent
All our songs
All our pranks

The happiness
The sorrow
The joy that we shared

It's hard to forget 'em

A tear of joy
Drips down my face
When ever I reminisce
Those times

Today,
At this very moment
I wanna assure you
That you'd never walk a lonely road
As I'll always be there for you

You may not by my side
But, you are there in my heart

You may be miles away
Yet, you are within my reach in my heart

I don't really know
If you still remember me
But, you were, are, and will always be there
In my Heart..

Those memories will never fade...

Live Long our Friendship...

Let 'em Live

I've come up with a poem (or a song, what ever one would call it) about the endangered species of birds.

Firstly, I'd like to thank a very good friend of mine because of whom I've written this. Had he not spelt the words 'Endangered Birds' which he had chosen for his project, I'd have never come up with this song.

So, here it goes..

I walk in a park,
Looking out for you,

Remembering your sweet sounds,
Which were more than just pleasant to the world,

The zephyr that I feel today,
Reminds me of you flying in the wind;
All around that day,

I walk the road,
I fly up high,
I keep searching....
I keep searching...
And, I keep searching for you...

Finally, I give up,
As, I still can't find you,
Why did you leave me?
I loved you so much,

Now, all I can do for you
And, for your family who face extinction,
Is just say,
To those merciless people...
'Let 'em Live'..
'Let 'em Live'...
'Let 'em Live'.....

I hope you all liked it.

A Lifeless Short Journey

It's been quite a long time since I've updated my blog. Well, I'm back now and let me tell you about a trip to my college would be like while travelling in my college bus.
Just read the below lines..you'd get an idea, I believe.

Walking on the street to board the bus,
While travelling in that crap bus, you can always see a cycle overtaking it!
The travel's so tedious that it seems as though you are heading to your destination in a 19th century motorbike(At least, that's better than my bus!),

Try jumping out of it, moving bus,
No, no, do not worry at all,
Why fear? When Bus No. 28 is here?!
One would never even get a minor scratch on his body!

The bus gets loaded up with so many people that one would get vexed of his life,
A few dumb people worsen the situation!
It feels so good after landing safely on the college's runway,

But it wouldn't be that good before some senior catches you,
Takes you to the Cafe` Coffee Day, (I wish there was one...)
Where you'll never get a buffet!

And, then quit from there before he makes our deep pockets shallow,
Next, stepping into the classroom, you find a new world in there,
Everything seems to be fine before the classes start.

Once they start,
One would get into a world that converges, diverges, polymerises, corrodes...
And, finally erodes by the end of the day!

There will no means of purification or extraction of a fresh mind,
Until and unless the travel goes on peacefully..
But, when the hell should that happen?!

Boarding that crap, stinky bus again in the evening,
The condition worsens from worse to worst!
Killin' time becomes the one and only best way to get rid of those dreary conditions..

At the end of the journey in the day, everything feels like 'A Lifeless Short Journey'....

P.S. I'm not complaining about anything about my college. I'm more than satisfied to study in there.

A Few Engineering Classes

Let me tell ya all about a few students' mindsets towards Engg. classes.

Let me start with...

Physics
The class gets crystallized initially,
Students' minds show the Lustre quality,
The bonds become highly ionic in the case of nerds;bonds become Van der Waals in the case of sombre looking fellas,

The class' ambience continues to be in uniform motion until it is disturbed by the application of an external force,
This results in abnormal conditions in the classroom causing defects in the already crystallized classroom:
Either the student gets shot by a Schottky defect and doesn't become frank due to Frenkel
defect or the student gets some sort of shock from the teacher due to an Electronic defect.

Then, the so affected student tends to become a braveheart due to the excitation of electrons in him and gets ready to face the teacher,
As a result, some unknown rays called X-rays begin to emit...

Okay, Okay let someone win!

Then, the class takes a huge deviation towards the next class:

Chemistry
The class kicks-off on how to develop resistance and not to develop conductance for the above evolving products!
As a result, the minds tend to get titrated after reacting with a strong acid or a strong base. A weak base/acid is no less...
Then, come the batteries fully charged..but, they discharge our already discharging batteries..!!
Fine, they don't get completely discharged though..
A little power is left out to face corrosion!
But, the different types of corrosion and its sub-types completely corrode the brains leaving no trace of the pure metal(mind/brain)!

This would leave us helpless to cure the corroded mind by means of eletctroplating, galvinizing or painting!

The class travels through many curves to come to a halt at the

Engineering Drawing class
The class goes smooth at the beginning by moving around a few straight lines..
But, later come the conics which are pretty much psychic..
The class takes a diversion to the involutes(They aren't flutes) section which make the mind go a bit more mad..

Then come the cycloids(No, no, not cycle tyres!) and those hypocycloids(a.k.a psycho-cycloids) which even the more make the minds to fall in a state of turmoil
The scales..drawing 'em is just as easy as drawing whales!

Finally, the projections tend to make the person draw a projector to a nearby asylum to abide there for a short duration!

P.S. Don't include my mindset in the above post, 'cos I love the above three classes!

Resurrection of The Guitarist

Well, this is my first post in my blog..

Let me kick-off by telling ya all regarding how a movie motivated me to pick up my guitar and begin strumming after a break of duration of an year..!!

I began learning guitar in the summer of '07 and had to put a halt to the classes as the schedule was getting tight in my college..(you know, exams and all..)

If I reminisce properly, one might have had hardly seen me with my guitar..!!:D

The leisure time I usually used to get in a day after my college hours was hardly even 8 hours. Still, I utilized that time productively(Don't include my guitar in here).

Till then, I was just a normal guy with the basic schedule daily-Wake up in the morning-Go to college, come back home at 6pm, study, have fun if there's still time left over and finally, hit the sack.

After our first term exams last year, the study-load decreased a bit and I thought it was time to relax and watch movies.

I watched 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na'. Loved the movie and the music. AR Rahman's music is undoubtedly the best..!!

But, that wasn't the movie that motivated me..

One of my closest pals told me about a movie which was too good to miss watching.
Very soon, I watched it too..I just loved the movie more than anything other movie I'd watched last year. The music especially was enthralling..!! The music's completely Rock..I got obsessed to the music, being a Rock music fan.

You might have already guessed the name..

Yeah!..It's ROCK ON!

I watched the movie a number of times..Loved each and every part of the movie..

Till then, my guitar was safely placed in my cupboard. It was absolutely safe..Nobody had used it since Jan, '08..not even me..!!

But, then I realised that it was high time. What's the use of keeping a lovely acoustic guitar locked inside a cupboard?

To be frank, the movie woke up THE GUITARIST in me..lol:D The lead band 'MAGIK' in the movie really created magic in me!!:D

And, guess what..from then, I didn't even leave my guitar a moment!! Trust me!

'Pichle Saat Dino Mein' was the first song I started pratcising since watching Rock On! Then I slowly moved towards the other songs in the same movie.
I normally used to listen to more number of English songs and a little of Hindi music.
Seriously guys, this movie had changed my musical mentality completely..

I had begun practising all kinds of music I'm a bit familiar with-English, Hindi and Telugu.
And I realised quite lately that my guitar's my BEST PAL.

Even today, I try to strum my guitar when ever I find time..

P.S. My Mom,my family members and my friends also played a big role in motivating me to play the guitar.

Happy November to all of ya..!!
